Hi.
I was looking through rainmeter.ini, and I thought to myself:
Why not change my skins path to a folder in dropbox?
So that's what I'll do.
Meanwhile, are there any reports of trouble with such a procedure?
I'm guessing the skins themselves aren't being altered by the rainmeter app: they're just read once during startup and everytime I click "refresh", right?
Thanks

Re: skins and themes folder into dropbox
That's not always the case. Many skins make changes to the skin files in order to update user preferences, save statistics, or for many other reasons.
However, I can't think of any reason why Dropbox would interfere with that. You could use a portable installation of Rainmeter to run the entire thing from Dropbox, as long as you don't have any skins or settings that are only appropriate for one of the computers you're running it on.
