Now all I gotta do is figure out how to change the mail feed so it displays white like it did before I flipped colors in the enigma config.

If you only want to recolor the mail items (and other Reader skins' items) without affecting other skins, you can edit the specific style for those meters. Open Enigma\Resources\Styles\Enigma Dark\SidebarReader.inc and look for the following section:

Change each instance of the #Color1# variable to the new color. White, of course, would be 255,255,255.

Try tineye to get a better size / copy perhaps? I no know sir I no know.
