Can you expand a bit on this? Is there an easier or better way to get / add new stations than what I have in HowTo.txt?
I searched a stream on the internet. Copied the link and pasted it in VLC. After that I saved the playlist file into xspf. For the rest everything is the same about how to add/change the stations.

So you don't have to visit shoutcast if you know the streaming adress.
Also you can't find every station on the shoutcast site. So this is also a solution.

Yes, the .xspf formatted file works just as well as .pls, so that is a decent alternative. I'll have to add that to the HowTo.txt.

There are now two ways to add stations :D
Always good to have more options. Yeah to keep them happy 8-)

So quickly update the howto

Volume control, play and stop buttons don't work for me.

Running 74 bit, and I have VLC and the specified plugin?

Should be fine of course. I don't know. Are you using my test skin "as is" and did you set the path to VLC in it correctly? Are you on a reasonably recent version of VLC?

Fixed it. Must have misclicked when trying to check the CAD Now-Playing option. :/

Thanks for the reply.

I love this skin's features but it didn't fit with my desktop (based mostly on Gnometer) so I was inspired to learn a little bit about Rainmeter and skins in order to make my own mod. Just wanted to say thanks. If it is useful enough to make me put some work into it, it must be good.
