Beta 2.1 will not load.

Hi

Had 2.0 working fine, tried to update to try the 2.1 beta and it will not load. Comes up with:

Rainmeter.exe - Application Error
The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000022).
Click OK to close the application.

I've already removed the C++ redistributables (3 versions I had installed) and installed the one linked from a similar thread on here, but still the same problem.

Any other thoughts?

What version of Windows are you on and what Service Pack? Have you tried with anti-virus disabled?

I have the same problem on "Windows7"
And i don't use some anti-virus.

I'm using Windows 7 Professional 32-bit with service pack 1 installed along with I think all other windows updates.

Were you using 2.0 successfully before? If not try it first, I had the same issue last week. If that is all ok, then try 2.1 over the top.

If not, have you tried downloading it again to make sure it's not a corrupt download?

Not sure what to try after that...
