Not really. You might want to look at the Roundline and Rotator meters instead.

plan B: what if I make a rotator using an image of a curved bar line(up-left quarter of a circle), it rotates towards north (true bearing 000) when the value of it's measure is higher, and rotates towards south (true bearing 180) when its value decrease. The area behind west (true bearing 270) makes the bar transparent, invisible. How should I write it?

@.@!! I think I found the solution.....remember, seahorse? last time i asked about how i could change the player volume, you posted jobu's revelation winamp player skin, the track process bar is partly curved. I think I can use a little bit of his idea on my skin~ thanks anyway

PS can i make the a color gradient roundline?

Roundlines are not cable of using gradients. The solidcolor background for a roundline meter should be though.
