Is there a way i can do a [getplayerposition]function of wmp, ie I can jump to different sections of a music track?

You get the track position in WMP using the NowPlaying plugin. Jumping to a position is not supported at the moment through the plugin.

The latest beta includes the SetPosition bang. Read the manual usage instructions.
