stop Rainmeter from disappearing on "Show Desktop" click

Whenever, i have too many windows open on my desktop, i click on the button "Show Desktop". But i notice this also clear away the Rainmeter topbar. And I'm not aware of any particular way to make it appear again (clicking on the rainmeter.exe didnt help).

Is there a way to make the Rainmeter topbar stick perpetually? thanks in advance!

Right click on the skin then settings, position and on desktop

I know this is an old post, but I am having the same issue.

I set up my skins the way I wanted, set each to to "Position: On Desktop", and then a few minutes later they had all reverted to "Position: Normal". It seems these settings don't even save from within the theme (if I save my setup as a theme).

Any advice?

Hm, I just did that, and it is still happening. Rainmeter is not saving the "On Desktop" setting for some of my skins. It switches back to Normal, or Bottom.

This is because you are most likely using Omnimo, which forces a specific value for Position each time the skin is refreshed. Please complain to the authors.

Hm, mainly using Enigma, with a few skins from other places (Dark Gear and taranbeer). I have omnimo installed, but this was occurring even before that =/

Can you give the exact name (e.g. Enigma\Clock\Something.ini) of a skin causing you trouble?

So far it has varied (some will lose their "on desktop" status, some will not). I removed Omnimo and reset everything on "on desktop", so everything is working properly right now. If/when it happens again, I will take note of the particular skins and post again. I really appreciate the help.
