LuaLauncher

Post by jsmorley »

Little "launchy" style app launcher for Rainmeter.

Very simple and self-explanatory. Just add ShortcutWord=Program in [Variables]

Just demonstrating how this might be done using Lua. Feel free to pretty it up and add whatever functionality you need.

Awesome!

Works great! Even links to websites and local folders... outstanding.

Sweet, I just installed and loaded this launcher. It is a very simple design, matches as close as needed to the illustro theme, as I currently have not found a launcher for it yet. I have put in around 26 shortcuts already, for some reason my system seems to launch the .exe's somewhat faster this way, as I am able to cut out using start to access shortcuts and no need to access quicklaunch from task bar anymore, this creates a simple keyboard type and hit enter key that launches what one needs. As I hide my desktop icons anyway, this makes accessing things quickly from the desktop.
