Just because you lot are too lazy to spell the word properly doesn't make it the right way to spell it. :-p

Haha!

We broke away from tyranny and unnecessary spelling complications!

...and then oppressed ourselves and the world with our own tyranny.

...and didn't learnt our kids to spelt good.

Ah, good that you reminded me. I've been meaning to find and replace Color with Colour in all of Rainmeter's source ;)

Laughin... figures. I open my mouth too much.

So far as the road thing though, you lot did that just for kicks, admit it. There's no difference at all, you just didn't want us driving in your country.

That part actually has historical value.
In "the good ol' days" when everyone had a horse and a sword you wanted to be able to charge someone without much discomfort. And as most people are right-handed it makes sense that you hold you sword in that hand and take your opponent on the right side. --> You got left side traffic.
Kind of makes you wonder why everyone else changed...

Either that or I've been watching to much tellie.
I don't think, therefore I'm not.

Interesting thought... is it the same in jousting? Did they ride to the right or left of the lists?

Someone told me once that driving on the right side means you drop off passengers on the curb, rather than letting them out into the street. Therefore we were more courteous. I tried to explain that you lot do the same thing, because driving on the right side of the car and down the left lane, passengers step out on the curb too. They didn't get it. It made me sad for them.
