Also when I try to use the gnome .ini sign in it still reads @gmail.con is there a way to change that part of the app? really needs to be @nolo.comLeonick wrote:The question i am asking myself right now is, have such authentication that we are trying with the username.password@address maybe been deactivated for you company mail? Because if the have deactivated such authentication that would answer that, but the why would the feed still be there as you can't reach it anyway...

yea don't think of that... that i just text hardcoded into the config app to help people understand what their username is, it doesn't affect anything :P

It should be:
https://trogerrabbit:14sixteen23wilcoi@google.com/a/nolo.com/feed/atom
Don't know if that'll work, though.

no no no that is correct that is where you should type it in, that app he saves that info so it can be loaded in to the skin.. it's a way to make it user friendly, get people out of the configs...RaytheRed wrote: *sigh* alright.. that is where I place my user name and password. should I have instead placed it in the .ini here:

you still could write it in the config though, as poiru said.
and that would be if trogerrabbit were you username and 14sixteen23wilcoi were you passwordpoiru wrote:It should be:

into the .ini file, changed it to my real user and password (still wondering if the # is the issue) and sadly no I am still getting "no new mail" even though I know I have 4 unreads in the box... so unless there are more ideas, I am thinking this will not work due to my works gimpiness..
Thank you both though for helping!

heh.. no comment on that.poiru wrote: I meant nolo.com..
From what I understand my company nolo.com is contracted to gmail for our email services, hence the gmail.nolo.com
I just was hoping since we use the gmail interface that the gnometer would still be able to read the inbox. I simply refuse to use the damn google desktop anymore. it works and all but it is so ugly, bulky and zero ability to move things around like rainmeter.
