Have you restarted rainmeter after installing the skin?
What skin is it?
What OS are you on?

I'm going to assume you're talking about this calendar that matches that XP visual style, rather than the style itself. If that's the case, then it is not a Rainmeter skin. That is a Rainlendar skin. Rainlendar is a piece of software developed by the original creator of Rainmeter, but is a completely different program. Its skins will NOT work with Rainmeter, and vice versa.
