How do I change the applications on the bottom bar. For example, I want to change the Net app from Firefox to Chrome and the Chat from Trillian to Pidgin

and yeah, i've read a bunch of threads on this. i have no idea what they're talking about =.=. I changed the .ini file and then what?
right now its at

Set "Google Chrome" as the name of the application as it appears. | Set "C:\Documents and Settings\Allen\Desktop\Chrome.exe" as the location of the app on your computer. | Set "NET" as a short description or subtitle for the app.
Version=2.7

If that's what you changed, those are instructions.
Post the code, and we'll help.

There should be a section in [].
Underneath it it should say:
Meter=String.
Change the data there.

Or, press ctrl+F and search whatever it currently is to just find the location of what you need to change faster.

okay, i changed it to this, but now when i click on the button, nothing opens at all:

[Google Chrome]
Meter=STRING
MeterStyle=StyleText
Text="#App3#"
X=60
LeftMouseDownAction=!Execute [!RainmeterShowMeter AppActive][!RainmeterHideMeter App][!RainmeterRedraw]

[C:\Documents and Settings\Allen\Desktop\Chrome.exe]
Meter=STRING
MeterStyle=StyleText
Text="#App3#"
X=60
FontColor=#ColorActive#
Hidden=1
LeftMouseUpAction=!Execute ["#App3Path#"][!RainmeterHideMeter AppActive][!RainmeterShowMeter App][!RainmeterRedraw]

[NET]
Meter=STRING
MeterStyle=StyleLabel
Text="#App3Label#"
X=60

Well... you kind of absolutely destroyed it.
I'd suggest redownloading it.

At the top, or in a seperate file such as Variables.inc there whould be a [Variables] section.
Underneath would be App1, App2, App3 and you change it after those.
So like:
App3=Google Chrome
App3Path=C:\Documents and Settings\Allen\Desktop\Chrome.exe

NEVER change the text within [] unless you know what you're doing and deciding to change the skin.

I'd suggest also reading Rainmeter 101 to help you along with things such as this.

It's part my fault too.
I was the one who told you to go into the [Meter] part instead of [Variables]

Notes as in notes you wrote before? Or the actual skin won't load?
If you want your old notes, I think they should be in Rainmeters backup folder.
