Material You Skin
I'm trying to recreate this skin I saw on Reddit: https://photos.google.com/share/AF1QipPWvdJpjxk_tf1FceaprlzspoNVf_kSFuj405hp9lP2y_n9todYc5zqZMCo8S6mEA?pli=1&key=dlFsV2JHbl94LTRaYktHLTJJXzZwelNYVS1keHVR Unfortunately OP when answering questions about how he did it in the comments he didn't give much to go off with. He said that he used pre made skins and edited the .ini file to get it how he wanted it to look. I'm looking to recreate this skin including the taskbar and the Explorer bar thing on the top of his desktop.

Your link doesn't work (or doesn't contain any photo), so either post a correct link or attach a screenshot to your post with the said image. In any case, just from your description which seems to indicate a more complex skin, I can tell that without the original skin, it won't be that easy to recreate it, and you'll be the one to do it (i.e. we'll help for sure, but won't write all the code for you).ZestycloseReception8 wrote: ↑July 28th, 2023, 2:21 pm I'm trying to recreate this skin I saw on Reddit: https://photos.google.com/share/AF1QipPWvdJpjxk_tf1FceaprlzspoNVf_kSFuj405hp9lP2y_n9todYc5zqZMCo8S6mEA?pli=1&key=dlFsV2JHbl94LTRaYktHLTJJXzZwelNYVS1keHVR Unfortunately OP when answering questions about how he did it in the comments he didn't give much to go off with. A valid image to see how it looks like is needed anyway. You or anyone trying to search it might get lucky and find it via an image search, depending on how close the said image is to the skin preview image, if any.

Re: Material You Skin
As Yincognito said above, the link is not valid. The easiest way to include an image into your post, is to upload it directly here. When writing your reply, click the Attachments tab below the field in which you're writing your reply, click the Add files button and look for the image you want to attach. When the image has been uploaded, you can either leave it so, or can include to certain place in your reply, using the Place inline button, next to the uploaded image:ZestycloseReception8 wrote: ↑July 28th, 2023, 2:21 pm I'm trying to recreate this skin I saw on Reddit: https://photos.google.com/share/AF1QipPWvdJpjxk_tf1FceaprlzspoNVf_kSFuj405hp9lP2y_n9todYc5zqZMCo8S6mEA?pli=1&key=dlFsV2JHbl94LTRaYktHLTJJXzZwelNYVS1keHVR
So, no need for external and many times not-working links.
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

Re: Material You Skin
Thanks, hopefully it's the skin the OP referred to, and if so maybe somebody will be able to identify it.aaronj3245 wrote: ↑February 19th, 2024, 10:38 am I think i know the link. https://www.reddit.com/r/Windows11/comments/135s87x/themed_all_my_devices_inspired_from_googles/

Re: Material You Skin
For the record, apparently someone did make a Rainmeter plugin for this (using Material You colors in a skin), see:
https://github.com/Reallukeisbest/meterial-you
I didn't test it, so that part will be up to anyone interested in using it. It's probably not the skin the OP is looking for, but it offers some clues on how to use such colors for future readers of this thread.

I knew you would (though I thought you'd do it in the other related thread) - nice work! Hopefully it will be of use to the OP as well!eclectic-tech wrote: ↑March 4th, 2024, 5:38 am I took you up on a testing how this works: https://forum.rainmeter.net/viewtopic.php?p=222004#p222004
