Rainmeter unresponsive - Use Kaspersky, not NOD32

Post by aladar »

I've been having the exact same issues with Rainmeter 1.1 x64 that is explained in the NOD32 issues topic, but the only twist is that I do not use NOD32, but Kaspersky 9.0. Is there a similar known fix for this? Or is it possibly a problem unrelated to my anti-virus? I think it may have started soon after I began applying parts from a skin I had downloaded, could this be the culprit?

Try adding exceptions to Kapersky for the following folders:

C:\Program Files\Rainmeter

For Windows XP:
C:\Documents and Settings\Your Username\My Documents\Rainmeter
C:\Documents and Settings\Your Username\Application Data\Rainmeter

For Windows Vista\7:
C:\Users\Your Username\Documents\Rainmeter
C:\Users\Your Username\AppData\Roaming\Rainmeter
