Well yeah but once again after a certian period of time the icon also disappears, Rainmeter.exe is nowhere to bee seen in task manager either
For first make sure you're not using a problematic Rainmeter version (see tass_co's post).
If you don't, did you see Active Colors's reply above (see his second paragraph)? Try unloading ValiStart to see if the issue persist.
Finally please let us know if:
The version of Rainmeter you1re using.
Unloading ValiStart fixed the issue.
We need to know this because if there is no problem when you don't use ValiStart, there is a problem with this package and in this case we should try to figure out this problem. If on the other hand you're using a problematic version of Rainmeter, you need to upgrade.

Wait here's another thing, when Rainmeter stops running in the background it doesn't send any kind of message, it just stops without me knowing
Actually, I had the same problem with Rainmeter versions 4.5.14 and 4.5.15.
The last thing I would suggest to you would be to reinstall the VC++ Runtimes packages
(Uninstall the vc++ packages first!)

Do you have the problem only when you try to use ValiStart? Check please if other skins don1t crash Rainmeter. Does any of them?
