Holo FFT - sizing

Post by singergeoff »

Love the HoloFFT visualiser skin. Looks great and so easy to customise in so many ways. One query - can you change the size of the visual art? I'd like to make it smaller - how do you do that?
Thanks

First by providing us a link of the incriminated skin. No one knows all skins existing out there, so a link would be nice. Give it please.

If the skin is the one linked by ikarus1969 above (and I assume it is), most probably there is no easy way for this (unless I missed something). The simplest way to save some space is to properly position the animation. You can do this by the buttons on the upper left corner of the skin, which appear when you1re hovering the mouse over the skin. Play with them to see how can you let it use a smaller surface.
If you find a good position, another thing you should use is a SkinWidth and SkinHeight option. Add them to the [Rainmeter] section. You have to find the best values for them, but these values are depending on how have you positioned / rotated the animation, so can't recommend specific values. You could try for instance SkinWidth=500 and SkinHeight=500, but it's up to you to find some proer values.
Sorry but me at least couldn't find an easier way to achieve what you want. Maybe someone else has a better idea...

Hey, author of HoloFFT here. You can scale the visualizer by scrolling over the skin with the mouse wheel. If you are on a laptop, touchpad 2-finger scroll will also work.
