Rainmeter not launching at startup (I know it is a common problem)

Hello,
I have a problem and I know that many people have this problem, rainmeter won't launch when I startup my pc. Here is a list of what I tried already:
1.reinstall and check the startup box
2.enable startup in taskmanager
3.put shortcut in startup folder
But this didn't work, any other tips/ideas?

Another option is to use the Run key in the registry, with a string value set to where the Rainmeter.exe is located; more info here

It could be a user permissions issue, but after you have checked those, maybe try setting Rainmeter to the default or no skins and retry that to see if the problem is because of a particular skin.
