Rainmeter is useless for international multi-time clocks.

For extra city clocks It only calculates a timezone by adding or subtracting the timezone offset from your local time. Most of the time this will work - but there are times it does not - when daylight saving is shifted in one city but not another.

I have tried 3 different international world clock skins, and from the skin file I can see they rely on Rainmeter to calculate the timezone offset.

Perhaps a new release of Rainmeter will have better implimentation of internation timezones and daylight saving?

cheers

I disagree. Your assumption is that this is a Rainmeter problem. That's like blaming Javascript or the browser because your webpage doesn't work like you want it to. Rainmeter is the tool, it is up to the skin authors to properly use the tool to develop their skins to work in the manner you describe.

As SilverAzide says, it is not Rainmeter but the skin author that determines how a clock works for different time zones. Hopefully, one of these will work for you. There are more posted on this forum, but not on the 'VisualSkins' site which is only a 'poster child' for other people's skins.

You can use the DaylightSavingTime option on Time measures, to force the daylight saving on or off.
