Yet again, can you press and hold CTRL button and while holding this button press right mouse button on any of the widgets on your desktop. Does this open the context menu like the one that Rainmeter should have like this?
If you don't see that context menu, which context menu do you see?

So wherever you got that other wallpaper was a place where someone was showing off their desktop, no doubt running some Rainmeter skins. If you can find the original source for that wallpaper, I think you will find those skins are in the wallpaper itself.

So you said you had Rainmeter? Rainmeter never does that by itself. Could be one of the Rainmeter skins that did that for some reason, or it was not Rainmeter at all but something else.
