Widget won't keep snap to edges when starting a remote session with different scaling

Post by GWQCE8EE8 »

I'm running rainmeter on my laptop with 1920x1080 screen and Windows scaling at 125% For both widgets I use (clock and weather), I enabled "snap to edges" and disabled "save position".

Whenever I start a remote session on my desktop PC with same screen resolution but different scaling factor (100% instead of 125%), the clock widget at the corner will stay in place but the weather widget will move quite a bit (about 300 pixels) leftwards.

Refreshing the rainmeter widget and the widget will snap to the right edge again.

This bug does not seem to occur when I just change the scaling factor of existing display. It probably only occurs when the computer suddently switches to another display device which also has different scaling factor than the previous PC.
