Gmail reader help

Thanks in advance to all reading this.

I do have a little bit of a problem. Everything is working fine for me with Rainmeter with the exception of Gmail Reader, no matter which config I use. Currently I've tried JTRains, Desk-Five, and Enigma's Gmailreader. None of them have worked.

If someone can provide me with an exact example of how I am supposed to enter my username and password within the edit skin settings please let me know, because I would love to use this feature.

Also, I would love to try your mail config, with your instructions. So if you can provide links to where I can get that config that would be nice as well.

Does your password contain special characters?

Try to enter your this into a browser like Firefox (IE might not work) and check if it returns anything:
https://USERNAME:PASSWORD@gmail.google.com/gmail/feed/atom

When I enter that it only including my username and password it says "Windows cannot find blah blah at gmail.com"
My password doesn't containly any special characters. I use letter and numbers only, some letters however are capitalized as to where others are lowercased. Does this make a difference?

Try with a decent browser (e.g. Firefox).

google chrome works and its rapid although my skins work with any browser that i try, here they are

in the folder you can find a file called Variables.inc
open this file with notepad and fill in-
User=
Password=

(in the bit what says User= you put the first part of your addresse, so if its "john@gmail.com" you would put-User=john
