Re: The program closes in a second.
The most likely culprit is some 3rd-party plugin that you are using in one of your skins.
The best way to tell is to:
1) Exit Rainmeter
2) Go to the folder %APPDATA%\Rainmeter and delete or rename the file Rainmeter.ini
3) Start Rainmeter
This will cause Rainmeter to create a new, default Rainmeter.ini.
Assuming that works ok, with a default, vanilla set of skins running, you can then unload the default Illustro skins and start loading the skins you normally use one at a time. When it crashes, you know which skin is causing it.

Re: The program closes in a second.
So even if you take the steps I outlined above, it crashes? That's mysterious... About the only suggestion I can make it to make sure you install the very latest version of your graphics drivers.Ze4ir wrote: ↑November 2nd, 2020, 1:30 pm but unfortunately it crashes on all skins.

I am also quite surprised and the latest driver is installed.

Re: The program closes in a second.
Maybe a clean uninstall and reinstall of Rainmeter might help. Suggesting to try it out.

Re: The program closes in a second.
It's certainly worth doing a clean install of Rainmeter.
I would be suspicious that something is going on with Windows.
I'd open a cmd command prompt window, running it "As administrator".
Then type: sfc /scannow and hit enter.
Let that finish. If it finds and corrects any problems, run it again, do this until it comes up clean.
Reboot your PC.
Open a cmd command prompt window, running it "As administrator".
Then type: DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth and hit enter.
Let that finish, then reboot your PC.
See if that helps.

Re: The program closes in a second.
the scan did not show any errors, but DISM updated the version (shown in the screenshot)
p.s.
I'm sure something with Windows, maybe it unfortunately did not help
