wxdata.weather.com service deprecated

Hey all,

the https://wxdata.weather.com service is no longer available as of today.
I just saw my skin won't show any weather information. When checking the API-URL you get the message "This service is deprecated as of 01/15/2020".
Is there any replacement yet?

Thanks in advance! :)

weather.com didn't require an API key. I think it would be fine for a small fix, but is there any solution for the whole community? As of now, almost every weather widget is broken.

Each user would require their own API key though right?

Check out my skin here: https://forum.rainmeter.net/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=34233

You can gut the weather code if you don't like the look and feel - it uses isitraining.in to get weather information. This has not failed me yet.

Why not use Dark Sky instead? It offers daily forecasts for free, which OWM doesn't.

It is what it is. As far as I know, there aren't any other free api key-less APIs you can use. Unless you're willing to parse a website.
