Rainmeter Forums

Requesting some help here as Google turned up nothing. I'm not sure if this is due to a recent update on my PC, but Rainmeter will not install. The following message appears:

Rainmeter 4.3.1 Requires at least Windows 7 with Service Pack 1.

My Windows version is 10 Pro.
I'm at a loss as to what could be the issue unless Rainmeter isn't recognizing my system as a Windows install.

Any help is much appreciated!

Make sure you download it from here https://www.rainmeter.net/

and try running the install as the administrator

I don't know why I didn't think of simply running it as administrator...

Is there a particular reason that a piece of software such as this installer wouldn't recognize my operating system? Does the request for this type of information require elevated rights?
