Spotify is just partially supported by NowPlaying measures and, according to the help:
Only the types Artist, Track and the bangs Play, PlayPause, Stop, Next, and Previous are available.
So, no, probably covert art can't be get with this measures is using Spotify (however I can't check, because I don't have Spotify installed).
