:???: Um just wanting to know how to set line styles, for a skin I installed- not ready to start designing yet.
What language is in use, scripting in C++?

No, Rainmeter skins are written using .ini formatted files that define options for "measures", which measure various values, and "meters", which display the results.

Yes I've looked at the line section but it doesn't indicate like a Dotted-Line?

The basics of a dotted line can be found here: https://docs.rainmeter.net/manual-beta/meters/shape/#StrokeDashes
But how you use it in a particular skin depends on how the skin is coded...
What skin are you trying to modify?
