It uses the Shape meter for bars, and since shapes are shapes, you can round them.
It has a variety of settings in the settings folder, you can rotate the vis, center the bars (the bars go up and down equally), round the corners, remove the bread crumbs (dots that stay when nothing is playing). It's a simple vis and should be easy to use or adjust to your liking.
You can also make it circular like VisBubble if you want, with all of that combined.

Beside what rxtd and Jeff wrote, there are plenty of visualizer skins out there, on both the Share Your Creations section of this forum and on deviantart.com. You can search for them. eclectic-tech wrote "thousands" of such skins, he is one of the most prolific visualizer skins author (congratulates for him!).
For example: https://forum.rainmeter.net/search.php?keywords=visualizer&terms=all&author=&fid%5B%5D=27&sc=1&sf=all&sr=posts&sk=t&sd=d&st=0&ch=300&t=0&submit=Search
Feel free to choose one which best match your needs.
