Hello, some time ago I saw a thread talking about how you can just use this:

[MeasureSomething]
Measure=ActionTimer

instead of this

Code: Select all

[MeasureSomething]
Measure=Plugin
Plugin=ActionTimer

Is this still a thing? If so, what Rainmeter version is required?

There is no "new plugin syntax".

This is only with specific plugins that have actually been converted to measures. They just aren't plugins at all anymore.

As of this writing, those are:

MediaKey
NowPlaying
RecycleManager
WebParser

These are all now standard, built-in measures for anyone running the 4.2 release version of Rainmeter.
