Since installing Windows 10 April update, Rainmeter is crashing. I went into the AppData and renamed the ini file and I can see it trying to create the default illustro setup, but it crashes again. Any other ideas?

I went to see if there was an update to Rainmeter and I see the website is down - https://www.rainmeter.net

Is Rainmeter still an active project?

Thanks!

Yes still active.

Website works fine for me.

Running
4.1.0 r2989 64-bit (Nov 6 2017)
Windows 10 Pro 64-bit (build 17134)
Path: C:\Program Files\Rainmeter\
IniFile: C:\Users\XXXXXX\AppData\Roaming\Rainmeter\Rainmeter.ini
SkinPath: C:\Users\XXXXXX\Documents\Rainmeter\Skins\

Might be one of your skins that is causing the crash. Check the log file.
