Hey what's wrong with my girls :P
A direct answer, shoot you are asking one of 5 to answer a question to affect the whole community.
If it were me, and I were paying for it, I would want something that starts here and ends here, and looks decent.
For overall Rainmeter use, the XML would be adequate, but there is something else I see taking place, and that is a new generation of users, and these folks were not brought up coding like we were. A Lot of graphical interface these days, and I think this is the next direction for Rainmeter as a whole.
Now I am off on a tangent again.
My vote would be for something nifty, here.
Since you are one of the 5 I listen to, what say you?
What say the rest of the community?

We can get GM to work on some graphics for a nice header for the page...
Re: AccuWeather, Todays meeting 2009/05/29
I would leave that decision for GhostMatrix-Sama.
He has so much on his plate now as it is
I guess I was right, getting through the AccuWeather politics was the easy part :ugeek:

I know enough about GM already to know that he won't be able to resist a chance to do some cool graphics. I have the same bug he does...sgtevmckay wrote:I would leave that decision for GhostMatrix-Sama.

@ GhostMatrix-Senpai
Yes
7 Of 9 ????
Not beamed in yet......Damn, definitely need more female interest in Rainmeter
7 of 9 has yet to attend the forums, but I am sure that these individuals are coming.
The forum is young, we just broke 200 members this week, and as schools get out, summer comes (to the northern hemisphere), and folks of all ages have more free time they will find us
When we came together on the concept of the new forum, I was disturbed, as I am no council of one, and then DM came forward, and Rorix came out of no where, and then came more.
I had three major fears:
My first fear was alieved by DM, and my second was by watching folks come.
Based on a concept similar to Donationcoder.com, I refused to be a single voice, speaking for all, in the Rainmeter community.
We are a community of Raineers, by Raineers, for Raineers.
I will stand by that.
There is also the fact that I am the community ID10T Error
I do not know a thing about Forums, PHP, PHPBB3, programing, and I am still cutting my Rainmeter teeth, but I believe!
I will turn 40 in a few days, and I am still learning, and having a great time.
I will become a Rainmeter GURU (with ya'lls help)!!!
We are over worked, not paid, and lets face it, we are loving every minute of it
Duty is everything: the greatest of joys and the deepest of sorrows.
I feel a duty towards what I have started and what the "Fearsome 5" have helped grow (almost uncontrollably)
I am grateful that I have found a capacity to be able to serve the community, as my last fear was that all of this was beyond me, and those that were to come would be like some of the folks I ran into over at Samurize (Very Bad Experience), a small few have been, but for the most part, we have a great community that welcomes all, and will teach when we can, what we can, and then forward a person to the next level, as we run out of what we know.
It brings a tear to the eye
So quite your chicken pecking and start typing, this is going to be big, and I am not done yet!
And hopefully neither are any of us

That the way I like it ... same philosophy of the "Ubuntu" Linux community, Made by the peoples for the peoples!sgtevmckay wrote:We are a community of Raineers, by Raineers, for Raineers.
I will stand by that.
I disagree ... be an ID10T is one thing, and a lack of knowledges is an another thing, so you are not an ID10T my friend!sgtevmckay wrote:There is also the fact that I am the community ID10T Error

And with Knowledge you need Wisdom ...
Knowledge is the understanding that a tomato is a fruit... wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad!
Believe, you have to
I do recall a young Padawan who have said to the Master "I don't believe it!" , and the answer of the Master was "that why you fail!"
same here for me, I will only change one thing in your phrase ...sgtevmckay wrote:I will turn 40 in a few days, and I am still learning, and having a great time.
I will turn 48 in a few days, and I am still learning, and having a great time.
Who will pop up first over here ... or maybe we gonna have a two for one! :P
