Rainmeter 4.0 Final Release

The Final Release of Rainmeter 4.0 is now available from
As usual, Rainmeter 4.0 is fully backwards compatible with skins written for any version of Rainmeter
You need only install on top of your existing installation.
No need to uninstall 3.3 or worry about overwriting changes you have made.

Hello to all
I installed the latest version of reimeter. I had the following problems:
Not read any skin
When he starts, he immediately quit
I think he reset me something but I did not understand everything, because then I had problems of various genre and I had to uninstall it.
Clean the PC I reinstalled the program but does not work

Strange, because for me, no problems. Which OS do you use? Sometimes an old plugin (like TopProcess) can cause Rainmeter to crash. Sometimes the firewall (or antivirus...) causes problems. Sometimes, an unstable Windows can crash applications.

Windows 8.1
with the prior version everything worked fine. After installation of the 4 there were problems.
Now I try again, if you give me trouble spot images

Maybe I understand what happened.
I installed the new version without uninstalling the previous. So maybe you went conflict.
Now it seems to work all right. if you update

Hi,
No need to install a previous version. The new version naturally crushes the old one. However, it must be in the same directory. Maybe that was the problem.
