Hi everyone, Right now I'm just trying to understand the basics of how the ini files work. Also, I'm a retired software developer. Wish there was a UI for the ini files. Maybe I'll take a stab at it later.

I'll make this short so everyone won't have to read a lot. Glad to be here.

Also pro-tip: you can edit your posts if you wish to update update something you've said, or add something you've forgotten to a post, instead of creating a whole new post you can click the Edit Post button (in the upper right corner of your post, first button on the left, not the ORANGE button ). As far as I can tell there is no limitation to using this, however, after a set period, editing a post will leave a notation at the bottom of the post.

Many have tried, failed, and died... but that shouldn't stop you! :p

All kidding aside, welcome to the forum! :great:

Thank you for the tip about posting. And so far I have edited many of my posts. The only time I usually do a new post is when I know someone I'm talking to is the looking at the thread. Lets them know there's been a change. But I will not do that here.

Thank you so much and nice to meet you.

Thank you Wulf. You never know about the UI... someone might get it someday :)

Nice to meet you
