I personally doubt they "fixed" anything, since most of the fields above are blank for me, just like they were for you. For the current day though, many of these fields exist in the <cc> (Current Condition) section, so this might actually be normal when you choose to get weather by days and not hourly. It was the same story a year or so ago (at least for me), I distinctly remember that.

Even if they fix it for a user, this doesn't apply for each of us. For some users there could be no problems, while for others different problems can occur. Depends on the location.

Maybe - it's one of the possibilities indeed. For now I'm not bothered by this, since as I said, the current condition section covers for the missing fields in the <day d="0"><part p="d">, especially in the "daily mode". These two are more or less the same anyway.
