Rainmeter 3.3 Release Candidate 2 Available

Release Candidate 2 of Rainmeter 3.3 is now available from
As usual, Rainmeter 3.3 is fully backwards compatible with skins written for any version of Rainmeter
You need only install on top of your existing installation.
No need to uninstall 3.2.1 or worry about overwriting changes you have made.

None of my meters using HWiNFO64 v5.00.2570 are working under this build. Reinstalled previously released Rainmeter build v3.3.r2468 and all works fine.

Please download and install vcredist_x64.exe (for 64-bit Rainmeter) or vcredist_x86.exe (for 32-bit Rainmeter) from: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=40784

That should fix it.

This problem occurs becuase we upgraded to a newer version of Visual Studio for the latest 3.3 builds. Unfortunately HWiNFO requires DLLs that we no longer ship as part of Rainmeter 3.3 RC. You will need to install the Visual Studio 2013 redistributable package to get those DLLs.

In case we have copied either ActionTimer.dll and/or RunCommand.dll to %APPDATA%\Rainmeter\Plugins we can delete them from there, right?

Yes you can. They won't hurt anything there, but you certainly can delete them.

That fixed it. Will it be necessary to reinstall vcredist_x64.exe after updating Rainmeter to future builds?

No, the issue is currently and only with the HWiNFO plugin and Rainmeter, and once you have installed the VS2013 runtime libraries in Windows, you are good to go.

No runtime libraries of any kind will be required for Rainmeter itself, or any built-in plugins now and in the future.

We are hopeful that the author of the HWiNFO plugin will address this (we are furiously trying to contact him as we speak) and make this unnecessary for other users going forward.

i get plenty of !CommandMeasure: Not supported warnings using the RunCommand plugin.
replacing the plugin with version 1.1 fixes that.
