Uploads and Downloads

There are many skins that read the applications that are using resources. Are there any that read the applications that are uploading and downloading? Is this even possible? If it is and there aren't could I get some help creating one, please? It would be nice to know what applications are sharing data. It would be even cooler to know what they are sharing, but that would be an over reach and I probably wouldn't be able to make heads or tails of it anyway. But I work from home and if I am getting low bandwidth issues, I could know what applications need to be shut down to improve things. I haven't written any rainmeter applications, but I edit a lot of the ones I have collected, so I can limp along if I can get some pointers.
