Here is a nice little free tool for capturing the color code(s) for any pixel on the screen. Also displays the X/Y coordinates of the mouse position, which can be very useful for skin creation... Just move your cursor on the screen and a zoom box will let you grab just the right pixel. Hit "Pause" to capture the color codes and cursor location in ColorPick and then copy the code you want to the clipboard for use in your programs.

There are LOTS of these kinds of programs out there, I just like the way this one works...
