Possible to display an emulator "inside" rainmeter?

Post by DinosGoMoo »

Okay, this is probably a stupid question, but I wanted to have an answer just in case.

Is it possible to create a rainmeter skin that functions as, for example, an NES emulator?
I know you can't manipulate rainmeter to physically function as an emulator. Of course you would need an emulation program, but is it possible to show the "frame" of the emulator inside a rainmeter skin?

Thanks for any answers.

No, not possible. Not sure exactly how it would be useful, apart from displaying some styling around a frameless window area, but I suppose there are always unusual things that come to mind ;)

Would be nice if making Windows visual styles was as simple as editing XML files, then more people would jump into it. I certainly would love to.
