I just finished the newest version, 0.9b. This time the left side numbers on the horizontal and the upper numbers on the vertical ruler are negative. Also added the 0 point onto both rulers. That's all!
I'm waiting for your comments. Most of this work belongs to Eclectic-tech.

Re: Screen grid for item positioning
The updated rulers make sense now. Good going Balala!
Since Ivan had mentioned circular grids (dreamer!), and I had some time, I added a fourth option of pixel circular grids. Balala, you can look at the mess I made of your calc measure to get the value back to '100' for the pixels. Really just added another section to the end!
For the circle grid, I also added diagonals from corner to corner (based on ikarus1969's Draw Diagonal Lines).
So here is beta 9c ('c' for CIRCLES! )
EDIT: I noticed a few things I meant to add:
* Retains dimension settings on switching modes
* Both rulers can control dimensions in circle mode
Beta 9d...

Re: Screen grid for item positioning
Thanks Ivan, it was interesting creating this, expanding on your ideas!
I'm happy with the way it has progressed... I think I am done tinkering (for now)
I may add some (optional) tooltips to assist first-time users.
Balala, do we call this done for now?
Thanks for the help and feedback!

I think you (we?) can. Maybe you could add to it the 1.0 version number and upload to the Share your creation section.eclectic-tech wrote:Thanks Ivan, it was interesting creating this, expanding on your ideas!

That part with the circles is also interesting. Congratulations. What's the best is that you can switch between the circles and the grid.

I'm happy we had this good cooperation into this project, it was interesting to see how it's growing.
I don't want to repeat myself, but once again congratulations!
