General question about *.png files

Post by jeffhobson »

When I turned on log/debug to find the interface # for my network NIC, there were errors that it could not open "NetworkBoth.png" and "NetworkError.png". What are these files and how do I create/download them?
Don't lose heart, someone may want it and not waste time with a messy search

You talking about the skin from here?

http://docs.rainmeter.net/tips/network-skin

If you clicked the download link and installed that .rmskin
3.png
Then the files will be in this location (C:\Users\Your Name) of course...
1.png
If you lost the images somehow while messing with it, here are the images and sound file it uses.
@Resources.zip
Most likely:
If you moved where the skin is located in your folders, and put it under some new or existing folder in "Rainmeter\Skins\", then you need to move the @Resources folder up one level. @Resources must always be at the "root config" level of a skin.

For instance, when you installed that .rmskin it created:

C:\Users\YourName\Documents\Rainmeter\Skins\NetTraffic\

The @Resources folder for that skin will be at

C:\Users\YourName\Documents\Rainmeter\Skins\NetTraffic\@Resources\

If you move the skin to say:

C:\Users\YourName\Documents\Rainmeter\Skins\MySkins\NetTraffic\

Then the "root config" folder for that skin is now MySkins, not NetTraffic, and you need to move that entire @Resources folder to:

C:\Users\YourName\Documents\Rainmeter\Skins\MySkins\@Resources\
C:\Users\YourName\Documents\Rainmeter\Skins\MySkins\NetTraffic\
