I copied only the portion of code without section identifier, but it was there.
I get no error on Rainmeter log.
And most relevant, I installed your skin and it does not work. If i comment the last line (MaskImageName=#@#Masks\Circle.png), it shows the whole picture so I'm assuming it's all related to the Mask Image call.
I confirm I have D2D enabled.
Should I try reinstalling Rainmeter? I doubt that would work but in case...

I doubt that re-installing Rainmeter is the solution, although it can't hurt to try it. Sounds more like something about your system is not allowing D2D to work properly. I really am not sure where I would even start looking for the issue. Updated to DirectX 11.1 (i had 11.0) and now works like a charm! I'd say that last version of directX is a prerequisite.
