These require v1.1.0b or higher.

PixelFFT

SpectrumFFT

Beta 3:
  • Correction to spectrum algorithm.

I find that FFTSize has a gain effect — too small a value, and quiet sounds like footsteps in movies won't show; too high, and detail won't be distinguishable.

This is a really spiffy plugin which is going to give us skinners (collective noun for those that code rainmeter skins?) new opportunities to produce a range of audio output monitoring skins. However, I have a few niggles with the current version on Windows 7 (64 bit).

Firstly, if I play a video through the VLC player with Realtek High Definition Audio speakers I get a burrrrrr.... sound when I close the VLC player. No problem if I pause the video before closing the VLC player.

Secondly, if I plug my headphones into the USB I get Microphone (5- Corsair Vengeance 1500) as the input device but the output doesn't change to Speakers (5- Corsair Vengeance 1500) until the skin is refreshed. I've tried putting OnChangeAction=[!Refresh] in a few of the measures but that doesn't seem to help.

These niggles apart.. thanks for the AudioLevel plugin and all the opportunities it gives us.
