Making a customised desktop with 3 application launcher skin

Hi

My mate has built his own Pub in his garden, hes now jsut got a PC with a touchscreen front end to look like a jukebox.

He wants me to create a desktop for him so that when windows boots up it runs Rainmeter with a customised boot up

essentially he wants a title of "the bullseye" (name of his pub)

then one large icon for running C:/pubquiz.exe and anotehr for running mame.exe and a third for jukebox.exe

going forward i think he wants to exapand this but just wnats to see if i can do it first.

I googled and rainmaker looks to do the trick, make three skins for each but I have no idea where to start, can anyone help? (total newbie... most experience I have is SQL/VBA)
