Need some help from you non-english folks. More specifically, I need the help of anyone who has Windows set to use a different locale or language.
Below is a test skin. Once you install the package a "Click Here To Copy" button will appear on your desktop. Please do so and paste the results here.
Just testing one of the abilities of the time measure to see if it works in a reliable manor.

The point is to see what the results are when the time is set to a different locale.Active Colors wrote:I've changed system language to Russian for a while and I use Russian locale as well (since your thingy related to time I use English settings for time)

So, it is connected to location settings, right? By the way my location is set to United States.smurfier wrote: The point is to see what the results are when the time is set to a different locale.

Re: Non-English Locales
I'm guessing so. With enough information I'm hoping to be able to extract the month names of a user's currently set locale. This used to be possible with Lua, but it was dangerous, being capable of breaking other loaded skins.Active Colors wrote: So, it is connected to location settings, right? i can't remember if these format codes ever worked. maybe they did for Windows 98, but i am pretty sure they didn't.
to avoid communication problems with us non-English folks you might want to include a measure that reads a user's locale.
just in case you have not seen this yet:

Code: Select all
