When will Rainmeter be user friendly?
It seems like i have to deal with adjusting setting in txt files a lot. I liked how easy Google Desktop was to use except it wasn't as customizable.

Never.
It is not our intention to ever make Rainmeter "easy to use" in the sense that Google Gadgets or Windows Sidebar were. We are not willing to sacrifice the flexibility and complete creativity Rainmeter allows authors.
