Total Newbie

Post by mrsmiles »

Hi,
I new to Rainmaker. I had it installed a while back and just didn't know what to do with it so I got rid of it.
I've decided to try again with a little more success but very little.

I would like to know how to edit the skins I've downloaded. They have shortcuts to things like music, and documents and such, but I have multiple drives. So I can't use the shortcuts since they use different drive letters. It also cam with a button for email which takes me to yahoo email. Do people still use yahoo? How can I change these shortcuts? When I open the files in note it's all just gibberish to me. Please help.
The skins I'm trying to use right now are:
Aperture_Desktop_1.0
D3_TRUCT0_1.0
BlueVision V0.2
Avengers
S.T.A.R.K_OS_1.1_

Thank you for any help.

Shortcuts are the same for windows as they are in Rainmeter. If it is a registered programe they you probably have something like: LeftMouseUpAction=[Taskmgr.exe]

If you are using a path in a variable an example might be GamePath=C:\Program Files (x86)\Games\World of Tanks\wot-xvm-proxy.exe

There is a tutorial specifically for launchers, perhaps you can work through them to better understand the principles.
