Hey guys,
Just wondering if the "Getting Started" http://docs.rainmeter.net/manual/getting-started manual can be downloaded as a .pdf or anything of that nature.
I work extremely far away, and have no internet. Looking to keep a local copy on my unit.
If so, could someone post a link?
Thanks,
Pujo

No, you can save the pages locally in your browser, but there is no downloadable version. Also, if you do save it locally as html pages, embedded links are not going to work.Pujo wrote:Hey guys,

It is really meant to be used online at this time.

Thanks for the reply.
I will put together a .pdf before I go back to work.
I'll send you a link to me skydrive when it is complete, as it may come in handy
Thanks,
Pujo

Re: Rainmeter "Getting Started Guide"
Feel free to make one for your own use, but we won't host a link to it here. No offense intended, but the manual (both final and beta) are constantly changing as we improve them and add stuff to Rainmeter, and we are very uncomfortable about having out of date versions of the manuals floating around in the forums. The potential for confusion is just too high.

Re: Rainmeter "Getting Started Guide"
I was not aware that the manual was updated that often.
I was only trying to be generous, as I have time on my hands while away.
I was not asking or implying for you to host a link.
I have been a programmer for 35 (professional) years and was only looking for knowledge.
No offense taken, none given.
You have a great day.
