Rainmeter language and Color Chooser

Post by FreeRaider »

Hi all, i'm new in Rainmeter and i have a pair of questions.
1) What is the language used Rainmeter ? (for exemple: Is it C++ or other?)
2) Where can i found a color chooser that included the alpha channel?

Thank you!

And as always, i apologize for my bad English.

Rainmeter uses the ini format for its skins. Additional functionality can be added by writing Lua scripts. To get started writing Rainmeter skins, please see the manual.

I think most color choosers don't include the alpha channel because transparent colors look very different depending on the background. I myself use Inkscape to design my skins, and also choose my colors directly with this application. If you don't use that kind of software to design your skins, that's not really a good option though.
Have more fun creating skins with Sublime Text 2 and the Rainmeter Package!
