Rainmeter on Linux?

Post by LouisLo0olz »

Hey guys I just wanted to ask if there's any way of getting rainmeter on Ubuntu?? I like pretty much this program and it'd be pretty usefull to have properly working on this system. If not are there any plans of spreading to Linux based systems or at least Ubuntu for a start? ;)
Thanks

From the manual:
docs.rainmeter.net wrote:Rainmeter is not available for non-Windows systems, including Mac OS and Linux, and there are no plans to support these operating systems.
Rainmeter is built on a very Windows-specific set of tools and functions. Porting it to another operating system would require rewriting the entire program more or less from scratch. If someone out there wants to give it a try, they're more than welcome, but we have no intention to take this on ourselves, nor would we take responsibility for providing support for other versions.
