Weird Black Text
newbie here >.< some skins that I load have errors and come out as black text, is there anyway to fix this?

it's either the files are not there.
or (i guess you are from East Asia):
the config files are encoded wrong. Rainmeter only supports ANSI or Unicode encoded files. Unicode Big Endian or UTF-8 do not work. You can open them with Windows' notepad.exe and use "Save As" to change the encoding method. should be the last dropdown menu in the "Save As" dialog.

Which skins are causing you trouble?

not for me when saved as UTF-8 encoded with notepad.exepoiru wrote: UTF-8 does actually work, too.
