Can't find folder

Post by thanagar10 »

I followed the instructions on the rainmeter tutorial to make my own skin. However, rainmeter doesn't seem to be able to find the folder. I created the folder(named it experimental)in the Skins folder and inside the folder i created the new text document with notepad as instructed and made it a .ini . Rainmeter doesn't show any folder besides the default illustro folder. What is the problem?

If your windows has "hide file extensions" activated it might be that you actually named your file .ini.txt. Try showing all file extensions and see if that is the case.
Have more fun creating skins with Sublime Text 2 and the Rainmeter Package!

In any Explorer window, click "Organize / Folder and search options / View" and then uncheck "Hide extensions of known file types".
